The Township’s Public Works Department consists of five full-time employees. They are responsible for maintaining approximately 66 miles of township roadways, snow removal, and maintenance of all township properties including the public parks.

State Maintained Roads

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation maintains 25.23 miles of roads located within Penn Township:

  • Doe Run Road
  • Fruitville Pike
  • Lancaster Road
  • Lebanon Road
  • Lititz Road (Between Fruitville Pike and Erb’s Quarry Road)
  • Mountain Road
  • Newport Road
  • Speedwell Forge Road
  • Temperance Hill Road
