Public Works Update
The 600 block of Mountain Road is now open. The utility pole and electrical wires have been replaced, and residents on Dead End Road now have electrical service restored.
Dead End Road in Elizabeth Township remains restricted to one lane due to a downed tree and communication lines blocking part of the roadway. This is not an electrical utility issue. The homeowner has arranged for a tree service to remove the tree, with work expected to be completed either tomorrow or Friday.
Overall, conditions have improved significantly, and the Township is returning to normal operations. The only remaining areas requiring attention are the parks, where cleanup is expected to continue into next week.
