In 2013, 153 trees were planted in the two larger parks: Cedar Hollow and Sweetbriar Creek. Providing ample active and passive recreation space is important for a well-rounded community, and the township’s goal is to continue to maintain and improve them over time. Any comments or suggestions on how to do this better are always welcome.
To reserve use of the athletic fields or the pavilion at Sweetbriar Creek, fill out an application and submit it to the township office. For those using the ball fields, also complete the Ball Field Use Agreement.
We’ve also partnered with the Lititz recCenter to provide township residents with discounted member rates for the facility and their wide range of programs. The recCenter offers, but is not limited to, the following:
- Aquatics, Dance, and other Fitness Programs
- Childcare Programs
- Fitness Center
- Lancaster County’s second-largest Indoor Pool
