Route 30 Closures October 10-13, 2025

Route 30 will have lane closures this week, and a full closure in both directions, October 10 to 13, for a bridge demolition at the Route 30/Route 222 interchange in Manheim Township, according to the state Department of Transportation. Lane closures in both directions between the New Holland Pike and Oregon Pike exits are scheduled from 9 p.m. Wednesday through 6 a.m. Thursday, and during the same times Thursday night and Friday night, for preliminary demolition of the bridge barriers.

Route 30 will be fully closed at the interchange starting at 9 p.m. Oct. 10, along with the bridge connecting Route 222 and Route 30 east. They are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Oct. 13. All work is weather permitting, and the backup dates for the closure are Oct. 17 to 20.

The detours are:

— Motorists traveling on Route 30 east should take Route 501 south (Lititz Pike) to North Duke Street to Route 23 east (East Chestnut Street and East Walnut Street), and back onto Route 30 east.

— Motorists traveling on Route 30 west should take Route 222 north to the Route 272 (Oregon Pike) exit, to Butter Road, to Route 272 south, to Route 222 south, and back onto Route 30 west.

— Motorists traveling from Route 30 east to Route 222 north should take Route 272 north (Oregon Pike), to Jake Landis Road, to Butter Road, to Route 222 north.

— Motorists traveling on Route 222 south to Route 30 east should take Route 501 south to North Duke Street, to Route 23 east (East Chestnut Street and East Walnut Street), to Route 30 east.
