Non-Residential Projects
The Rohrer’s Quarry Lititz Road Realignment Project is available for review. The project includes:
- A signaled light at Fruitville Pike and the to be newly constructed Connector Road which will tie into Erbs Quarry Road, the closure of Lititz Road between Fruitville Pike and Erbs Quarry Road to the public after the new Connector Road is constructed, and restricted access at the intersection of Erbs Quarry Road and Bent Creek with right-in and right-out traffic movements.
- The Connector Road will become the new PennDOT Road.
- The new Connector Road and Erbs Quarry Road between the new Connector Road and Lititz Road will be widened as part of the project.
- The eastern leg of Lititz Road will be turned into a cul-de-sac to service the two properties.
- Reducing crashes at this intersection is a well-documented priority for Penn Township and PennDOT. It is Penn Township’s belief that effectively making this a “3-leg” intersection will improve safety at this intersection as well as reducing heavy traffic in the Brighton area of Manheim Township.
