Notice is hereby given that Northwestern Lancaster County Authority located in Penn Township Lancaster County, Pennsylvania is it is seeking approval from the PA Department of Environmental Protection for a Categorical Exclusion for an upcoming sanitary sewer project. A 30-day public comment period is hereby established.
The project name is the Pumping Station No. 1 Upgrade Project. This is a sanitary sewer project located in Penn Township, Lancaster County that involves the demolition of an existing pumping station and the construction of a new pumping station at the same location. This project will not impact user fees.
Individuals interested in reviewing the supporting documents may do so at the Northwestern Lancaster County Authority office located at the Penn Township Municipal Building (97 North Penryn Road, Manheim PA 17545) during normal business hours (Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM). The public may submit written comments on the proposed project at the same location or by mail to the above address during the 30-day public comment period which shall commence on Friday, September 20, 2024 and terminate end of business day on Monday, October 21, 2024.
