Notice of Public Hearing by the Penn Township Zoning Hearing Board

Notice is hereby given that the Penn Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., at the Penn Township Municipal Building; 97 North Penryn Road, Manheim, PA 17545, to hear the following application(s):

Case #240981 – Applicants Zane Kreider & Haley Suzenski appeal the October 3, 2024 decision of the Penn Township Zoning Officer, with regards to the denial of Zoning Permit #2410419 for the installation of a fence within a stormwater easement on the Applicant’s property. The parcel that is the subject of this application is 6284 Bayberry Avenue, Manheim, PA 17545, which is located in the RM – Medium Density Residential Zoning District of Penn Township, Tax ID#500-16680-0-0000.

Case #240982 – Applicant Lancaster-Lebanon IU-13 requests a variance from §27-302.4.A of the Penn Township Zoning Ordinance, to allow a fence that is taller than 4 feet in a front yard. The property that is the subject of this application is 1713 Newport Road, Manheim, PA 17545, Tax ID #500-03119-0-0000, which is located in the AG – Agricultural Zoning District of Penn Township.

Case #240983 – Applicant New Singular Wireless PCS, d/b/a AT&T Mobility, requests a Special Exception per §27-202 Table of Uses and §27-402.20 Communication Antennas, Towers and Equipment of the Penn Township Zoning Ordinance; and such other interpretations, modifications, waivers, or other relief and/or approvals the Zoning Hearing Board deems necessary; to allow the installation of a Communications Tower at 1190 Lancaster Road, Manheim, PA 17545, Tax ID#500-22818-0-0000 which is located in the LC – Limited Commercial Zoning District of Penn Township.

The applications may be examined at the Penn Township Municipal Office, 97 N. Penryn Rd., Manheim, PA between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
