The training is designed to improve the knowledge of folks both in businesses or faith-based organizations for response to an armed assailant incident. It will provide the basis for developing or improving upon response plans and training programs. People receiving this training are less likely to freeze if ever confronted with such a horrific event.

This training will provide the participants an opportunity to:
▪ Gain insight into lessons learned from past armed assailant incidents.
▪ Learn the immediate actions to take in order to minimize loss of life
▪ Learn about the role of responding law enforcement and precautions to take by employees in
an armed assailant incident.
▪ Be aware of hardware and administrative changes to make at your facility to facilitate the
response to such an incident.
