Penn Township will consider approving an ordinance at 7pm, Monday, September 25, 2017 that would restrict trucks except for local deliveries on Memorial Road (T-903) by prohibiting each truck or trailer with over 10 tons of registered gross vehicle weight. Warwick Township is to consider an identical ordinance on September 20 for its eastern segment of Memorial Road. The effect of the ordinance is that signs will be posted on West Lexington Road near and on Memorial Road and enforced by police five days after ordinance adoption, September 30. ‘Local deliveries’ means that trucks over 10 tons may use Memorial Road to get to or from properties with vehicle access from Memorial Road.
